The Future AI Summit'25 took place at BAU with the theme "Metamorph".

Bahçeşehir University hosted one of the most comprehensive events in Turkey and the MENA region in the field of artificial intelligence, the Future AI Summit'25, on April 16-17, 2025. This year's summit, themed "Metamorph," addressed the role of artificial intelligence in technological, societal, and ethical transformation.

The opening of the event was conducted by the AI-powered virtual presenter, Lucia. Dr. Serdar Şenel, Vice President of BAU Global, emphasized that the entire content of the summit was prepared by artificial intelligence systems, stating that AI is no longer just a tool but a force for transformation.

During the two-day event, 120 speakers participated in 36 sessions; top executives from global technology companies such as Microsoft, Google, Huawei, and Dell met with the participants. Michelle Gyles-McDonnough, Director of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), also contributed to the summit through a video message.

In her speech, BAU Rector Prof. Dr. Esra Hatipoğlu highlighted the importance of ethical values by saying, "Humanity should be at the center of technological advancements." Over 8,000 people attended the summit, held at the Beşiktaş South Campus, and participants had the opportunity to experience the applications of artificial intelligence in various sectors.
