Leaders of the World of Artificial Intelligence Gathered at Future AI Summit London
The Future AI Summit London, organized by BAU Global in the UK, brought together leading representatives from academia and the industry in the field of artificial intelligence. The summit held in London prepared the ground for international knowledge sharing by bringing together AI experts, entrepreneurs, academics, and globally operating technology companies on the same platform.
BAU Global, in collaboration with AWS, Intel, Telescope, Skyloop, and Future Campus, organized the event with academic contributions from Bahçeşehir University, the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, and Rutgers University. Türkiye’s Ambassador to London, Osman Koray Ertaş, also attended the event.
At the Future AI Summit London, experts from various disciplines in the field of artificial intelligence served as speakers. The summit featured Dr. Serdar Şenel, Chair of the Future AI Summit Committee; Sonel Popatlal, AI Director at Intel; Atılım Güneş Baydın from Oxford University; Dr. Bilge Kaçmaz, who works in machine learning and space technologies; Soner Ergen, CEO of Telescope AI; Dr. Athanasios Gkelias from Imperial College; Oya Geron from Reshape Consulting; Chris Wheatcroft, Managing Partner at Compute Capital; Helen Roberts, CEO of CPG; Ray Lavery, CIO of CPG; and Pawan Lokwani, Co-Founder of Recruitment Smart AI Technologies.
The panels discussed AI applications specific to industries, human–AI collaboration, innovations in defense technologies, generative AI solutions, investment strategies, and new generation entrepreneurial models.

Dr. Serdar Şenel, Chair of the Future AI Summit Committee, expressed that the London leg of the summit, which has been held in Istanbul for two years, comprehensively assessed the impacts of artificial intelligence across many fields, from economics to education and from defense to creative industries. He emphasized that the convergence of academia, the industry, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem transformed the event into a strong international knowledge sharing platform.
Şenel noted that the Future AI Summit London, organized in line with BAU Global’s global vision, contributes to the development of international collaborations focused on artificial intelligence.
